FAQ
Questions program directors ask
Straight answers on cost, access, ACGME fit, and what the pilot involves.
How much does it cost?
Founding pilot programs are free through June 2027 — and the founding charter locks your rate afterward. No per-resident fees during the pilot, no setup costs.
How do my residents get access?
You request pilot access — we set up your program, and your residents create free accounts with your program code. Their progress, pre/post scores, and score-change reports flow into your program dashboard.
Does online coursework count toward ACGME didactics?
It can — ACGME requirements explicitly contemplate asynchronous learning as a didactic activity, with protected time, and how much of it counts toward your program’s didactics is your program’s decision. The requirements say residents should participate in at least 70% of regularly scheduled didactic sessions (§4.11.s). Self-paced modules make participation easy to evidence: every lesson completion is recorded and visible to your PD as didactic engagement. How that engagement maps to your program’s didactic attendance policy is confirmed with your DIO. Every rotation is mapped to ACGME requirements and Psychiatry Milestones 2.0 — see the Module 1 crosswalk for the objective-by-objective mapping.
How much faculty time does it take?
Very little — and none of it lecturing or grading. The curriculum is self-paced and self-grading: nothing to lecture, nothing to grade. It runs inside the protected didactic time your program already schedules. Faculty stay where they add the most value: choosing content, discussing cases at the bedside, and signing off on what residents can actually do. It’s built to fit inside a rotation, not on top of it.
What about patient privacy?
There is no patient data in the system — performance data only. Scores are visible on your program dashboard alone. The Ask Dr. Mahato feature carries a standing rule: never include patient names, dates, or identifiers. How resident data itself is collected, seen, retained, and deleted is spelled out on the Data & privacy page.
Which states does the legal content cover?
Every module has a universal core that works in every state, plus state supplements for local law. The New York supplement is built; all fifty states’ emergency-hold essentials are charted on our 50-state reference. Additional state supplements are built on demand for enrolled programs.
We already have didactics. Can this supplement them?
Yes — it’s modular. Use it to carry the teaching that belongs to a rotation, alongside what you have: assign modules by week, and the pre/post score-change reports give your PEC objective learning evidence either way.
What happens after the pilot period?
Founding pilots move to the founding rate — locked by your charter, below list pricing. Your residents keep their accounts, progress, and history; nothing resets.
Still deciding?
The fastest way to evaluate it is to run it: free through June 2027, co-designed with you.
